 The Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens displays 1,200 animals from around the world. The new Sea Lion Cliffs exhibit features under-water viewing of these marine mammals. Explore a cave, discover a desert, and make contact with barn yard animals at the Winnick Family Children’s Zoo. Swing into Red Ape Rain Forest, a tropical habitat for orangutans. For more primate fun, visit Chimpanzees of Mahale Mountains, home to one of the largest troops of chimpanzees in the United States. Dragons of Komodo features the largest lizard in the world, the Komodo dragon. Highlights include koala, okapi, tiger, giraffe, lion, hippopotamus, rhinoceros, bird show, the Papiano Play Park, and much more.
