    Only a New Yorker would reduce a trip to Los Angeles to be solely about food and shopping. We have over 300 very diverse museums. I’d start with one of those.

    You’re right, but I think it comes down to personal preference. Some people are foodies, others are theater buffs or art lovers or sports nuts. I visited the Getty awhile back and it was BEAUTIFUL! I am more of a theater buff myself, but I can still appreciate art.
