To experience the true culture of Los Angeles, you’ve gotta find out where the locals hang out! To help you discover the true hidden gems of the city, LA.com has put together a list of the Top 10 Local Legends to grab a bite to eat.

You may assume that L.A. is all glitz and glamor, but with Pink’s Hot Dogs and Roscoe’s House of Chicken n’ Waffles being local favorites, this city has its share of kitschy Americana. Of course there’s also gourmet wonders on the list, like Wolfgang Puck’s legendary Spago and The Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

For a well-rounded experience, try a combination of the list!

For those that LOVE to travel (or just like great movies), you’ve gotta come see LAST STOP FOR PAUL, which opens March 7 in Los Angeles at the Laemmle Sunset 5 in West Hollywood and the AMC Broadway in Santa Monica.

Shot entirely on location in Jamaica, Antigua, St. Lucia, Santiago, Chile, Germany, Moscow, Greece, Tokyo, Vietnam—and culminating at the Full Moon Party in Koh Phangan, Thailand, Last Stop for Paul is buddy-road comedy like none before. The film chronicles the adventures of two friends who travel around the world to scatter the ashes of their recently deceased friend. As they travel from country to country they meet a myriad of interesting characters and have the adventure of a lifetime.

Along its journey, Last Stop for Paul has been receiving praise from press and movie fans across the world. Richard Roeper calls Last Stop for Paul “A unique accomplishment; always entertaining. Very funny and at times quite touching.” The Chicago Sun-Times, The Providence Journal, Colorado Daily, Condé Nast Traveler, Film Guru.net, Internet Video Magazine, AAA Car and Travel and Variety’s Peter Bart are just a few of your colleagues that have heaped praise upon the film.

Please check out www.laststopforpaul.com for more details and to purchase tickets.

    Hope to see you there!
