Formerly known as the Autry Museum of Western Heritage, the Autry National Center Museum of the American West examines the interwoven histories, cultures and mythologies of the American West and its diverse peoples. In less than 20 years, this collection has grown to encompass a broad and inclusive representation of art and artifacts from the American West, including a renowned collection of ranch life and cowboy culture. The popular gallery is devoted to the early days of the Hollywood westerns.

Tuesday–Sunday 10:00 am–5:00 pm with extended hours on Thursdays from Memorial Day–Labor Day until 8:00 pm.
