Cabrillo Marine Aquarium

Cabrillo Marine Aquarium is an educational, recreational, and research facility devoted to encouraging active public participation to promote knowledge and conservation of the marine life of Southern California.

Celebrating 70 years of marine education, the Aquarium is a facility of the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks and is located on the shore at Cabrillo Beach in San Pedro between Point Fermin and the Port of Los Angeles. The tidepools of the Point Fermin Marine Life Refuge, a salt marsh, fishing pier, sandy beaches and fossil rich cliffs are all within accessible walking distance from the Aquarium.

Tuesday–Friday, noon–5:00 pm; Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 am–5:00 pm

Closed: Mondays, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. All holidays are subject to change without notice.

Metro: MTA bus 446 and MAX bus 3 stops nearby at 36th Street and Pacific Avenue.

By Car: Take the 110 South, and exit at Harbor Boulevard in San Pedro. Take a Right on Harbor Boulevard. Take a Right on 22nd Street. Take a left on Pacific Avenue to 36th Street/Stephen M. White Drive.
