Heritage Square Museum

Included General Admission with the Go Los Angeles Card
Heritage Square tells the story of the development of Los Angeles like no place else. Located in a park like setting, our eight Victorian-era structures provide the perfect backdrop for visitors interested in the history of Los Angeles during its formative years.
The museum was founded in 1969 to save the last two structures from downtown Los Angeles. Over time, other structures were saved from demolition and moved to the site. Today these structures complement perfectly the museum’s changing exhibits, special events, and guided tours, taking our guests back to a time when electricity was a novelty, a trip to the beach was a full-weekend activity and manners were distinctly different from those of today.
We encourage you to come on out! Take a tour with costumed docents, see our beautiful homes and learn how the Southern California of yesterday affects the Southern California of today.
