Because Downtown Los Angeles also has the largest concentration of historic pre-World War II architecture in America, it is often used as a movie backlot for turn-of-the-century New York or Chicago. From the 101 Freeway, take the Spring Street exit. Turn right on Third Street. Red Line is located in the Bradbury Building on the ground level, at the corner of Broadway and Third.
